About Membership

The Kelowna Golf & Country Club was incorporated in 1920 and is located in the heart of Kelowna. This favourite semi private golf club currently has a waiting list for full play membership (approximately four years).

To add a name to the waiting list for a full golfing membership, a candidate must fill out and submit an application form available during the month of April to be placed in a draw that will occur the beginning of May.

A non refundable deposit must accompany the application form for the waiting list and will be applied to the entrance fee at the time the member comes off the waiting list and into Regular, full play membership.

The current entrance fee is $9,000 plus HST (this amount is set and locked in for each applicant at the time they are drawn onto the waiting list).

If successful in the draw, the person is considered an Associate Member (2012 Associate dues are $380, plus HST), entitling the Associate to 20 rounds of golf at the Associate green fee rate (2012 - $52.00 plus HST) during the golfing season, which is determined by the Board of Directors each year. Also, the food and beverage assessment of $500.00 will be paid by the member.

Applications for Social memberships are available starting February 1st of each year and will be filled on a first come, first filled basis. The entry fee of $500.00, 2012 annual dues of $350 (both plus HST) and the food and beverage assessment of $500.00 must accompany the application form. There are no golfing privileges associated with this membership classification.
