Seniors Mens Invitational 2019 Seniors Mens Invitational Results & Tee Times

A great 42nd Annual Senior Men's Invitational Tournament was held on June 13th and 14th.

The full Field of 176 Players enjoyed two great days of golf with great conditions, tremendous food and a fantastic social atmosphere. Thank you to all that entered, We look forward to seeing back here at the Kelowna Golf & Country Club in the future.

FINAL RESULTS

ROXBURGH WINS HIS FIRST KGCC SENIOR MEN'S TITLE ON THE FINAL HOLE

Heading into the final round we had last year's winner, Norm Bradley (KGCC) at 4 under par and Doug Roxburgh (Marine Drive) at 2 under par. These were great scores that were fired on slick greens in blustery winds. The score remained that way until there was a two shot swing with Roxburgh making a birdie and Bradley making a bogey on the 11th Hole to tie it all up heading to the 12th tee. It remained that way pretty well until the par 5, 18th where Bradley made par and Roxburgh smoothly rolled in a downhill 10 footer for birdie to finish at 3 under par and earn his first KGCC Senior Men's Invitational title.

Frank McKenzie got into the mix with an eagle on the par 4, 14th and then birdies on holes 16 and 18 but with that final birdie of Roxburgh on the 18th would be just one shot shy of getting into a playoff.

Kevin Grieve (Penticton) won the Overall Low Net Title at 13 under par (131).

Jean Treadgold and her team of registration and scoring ladies, Bert Evans, Wilf Petkau, Gary Gilbert and Al Stonehouse for their great work and starters as well as our tireless fantastic support of Dennis Andow in the role of Player's Assistant and pretty much everything else that needs doing. We also would like to thank the KGCC Members for giving up their course for the two days to host this 42nd Annual Tournament. Approx. 25% of the field was made up of our own members.
