Junior Membership

Thank you for your interest in our 2025 Junior Membership Program. Below you will find a link that you will allow you to download a Junior Membership Waiting List Application Form. These applications can be submitted to our office starting on Sunday, September 1st and will be place in order by the date they are received and stamped by our office.

Our strong junior program has over 100 active members organized by our enthusiastic Golf Professional Coordinator, Joel Aitken. There are plenty of mandatory and optional training clinics, tournaments and opportunities to participate provided.

Each Monday afternoon there is time set aside for our Junior members, including a series of competitions and fun formats for all calibers of golfers.

As a gauge our fees were $671 for the 2024 season. They did not include the applicable gst. For new first time members, the fees included a series of group lessons, Golf Canada membership fees, instructional clinics as well as our initial mandatory Orientation and Etiquette session.  The season will have opportunities to volunteer at our main adult tournaments, play in our monthly fun tournaments as well as play with Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa in our Junior / Adult fun filled Events.

The Country Club remains committed to it's Junior Membership and awards three post secondary bursaries each year for deserving young members that display sportsmanship, take a lead in volunteering and remain active in each of these areas. In the event they wish to play in the Junior Zone 2 Tour there is also opportunity to have some of these tournament expenses reimbursed by the Club as well.

THE JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP WAITING LIST  IS NOW  OPEN EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1st OF 2024. WE HAVE POSTED A LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. ONCE THE FORM IS COMPLETED IT MUST BE EMAILED TO [email protected]  OR DROPPED OFF IN PERSON AT OUR ADMINISTRATION OFFICE ANYTIME STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 1ST.

PLEASE NOTE ALL WAITING LIST APPLICANTS THAT WERE UNSUCCESSFUL IN 2024 MUST RE-APPLY IN 2025 AS THE WAIT LIST IS NOT CARRIED FORWARD FROM YEAR TO YEAR. FIRST PRIORITY IS ALWAYS GIVEN TO EXISTING KGCC MEMBERS' CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN.

ANY UNAFFILIATED MEMBERS WILL BE FILED IN DATE ORDER OF WHEN THE APPLICATION IS RECEIVED EACH YEAR. ONCE SPOTS ARE RELEASED IN FEBRUARY OF 2025 THEY WILL BE RELEASED IN THE ORDER APPLICATION FORMS ARE RECEIVED BY OUR OFFICE.
