Troy Bulmer of Predator Ridge fired a 4 under par 68 while Matthew Kreutz of Vernon Golf & Country Club concluded his final round with a 1 under par 71 in the 35 degree scorching hot temperatures. The two players battled it out all day and ended up tied heading into the second to last hole when Bulmer managed to make a birdie on the par 3 17th to give himself a one shot lead heading into the final hole. Bulmer and Kreutz both made pars on 18 to solidify the 70th Annual Ogopogo Invitational victory for Troy Bulmer. The now two time champion, Bulmer joins Kelowna Golf & Country Club's Matt Palahniuk as the only two time champions in the past 16 years.
Mike Byland of the Kelowna Golf & Country Club and Michael Belle of Vancouver Golf Club both finished their tournament at 6 under par. Byland capped it off in style with a great eagle on the par 5 final hole. While Brookes Lancaster of Penticton Golf & CC and Rob Tadey of Fairview Mountain finished at 1 under par for the tournament.
The Overall Low Net Winner was Brian Clark. Mike Byland takes home the Low Interior Amateur Trophy while Steve Anderson was the winner of the Overall Low Gross Senior Trophy. All three of these trophy winners are members of the Kelowna Golf & Country Club.

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteer members that gave time out of their day to lend a helping hand. The assistance at the scoring and registration tables, hole in one spotting and the Thursday BBQ was exceptional and adds a great deal of spirit and a wonderful touch of class to the tournament. A special shout out to our volunteer amabassador, Dennis Andow and our Club historian and photographer, Bernie Monteleone for their hard and tireless work.
The tournament raised a total of $1,250 for our Junior Development program and the BBQ night proceeds of $4,032 will be greatly appreciated by the Kelowna Community Food Bank.
Thank you as well to the members of the club for giving up their course for the 3 and a half days it takes to host this event and to the management team and each and everyone of their employees for showcasing the Club in the true KGCC fashion throughout the event! What a great team we have here at the Club!
